Tyler, A.K.A. “TCaptainX” or “TCap” was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.

Growing up, sports like football, baseball, and track occupied much of his time but his favorite thing to do outside of sports was playing video games. He attended Otterbein University where he played collegiate football at the Divison 3 level and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.

Despite being a full time content creator, he has kept a part-time position as a Registered Nurse working in a step-down Neurological ICU. Tyler and his wife, Marti, own a home together in the Cincinnati area where they they have 2 dogs (Captain and Sarge) and 2 cats (Nova and Phoenix).
