Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mxddy later moved to Florida, where she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology. She grew up playing games on the Nintendo 64, cherished her Nintendo DS, and enjoyed watching her brothers play video games—though she didn’t consider herself much of a gamer at the time.

Mxddy began streaming during the COVID-19 pandemic as a fun way to hang out with a few friends in her chat. What started as a casual hobby quickly evolved into something much bigger than she ever anticipated. Four months into streaming, she decided to quit her lifeguarding job due to an exhausting schedule that left little room for sleep. Her days consisted of sleeping from noon to 7 p.m., streaming until 4 a.m., and then working from 5 a.m. to noon—a pace that was unsustainable.

Her dedication and charisma paid off, and Mxddy earned Twitch Partner status just six months after starting her streaming journey. Now, she resides in Dallas, Texas, where she’s surrounded by fellow creators and friends, continuing to thrive in her unexpected career as a streamer.
